HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
– to all the inspiring, strong, fabulous women who continuously challenge the status quo and never give up.
And also to those who are currently struggling and do not have the strength to challenge bias and inequality but give an example through their pure existence, their nourishing and care taking.
Please trust yourselves, your path and anything you endure, never give up and never dim your light or lower your expectations in the face of injustice or difficulties.
Speaking up sometimes returns backlashes,
Being ‘too feminine’ may bring you critics.
For being too clear and confident you may be called bossy.
For being too assertive and inconvenient you may be ‘too aggressive’ and asked to lower your expectations towards others.
For having a vision and seeing through, you may be called ‘esoteric’.
Don’t worry about all that as it has usually not much to do with you but with the person that feels threatened or disturbed in their plans.
they just need a different landing page, a better audience, a nicer playground.
If these labels and critics are still in your head and do not leave you in peace I suggest to do the following:
Collect all the labels, ‘too much’s’, assumptions, critics in a list.
The list has all the attributes that are your strengths, use these to create your own business, project, plan, something magical from that.
Copy this list in a second list. Select a few strengths where you feel they did not always land with the environment you were in. If you feel you can or you need to improve here, take a coach and work these through to slightly adjust. Thats all!
I am here to guide you through any doubts or challenges you have and to support you to shine your light bright in this world and to use your strengths for greater positive impact.
Because we need all hands on deck.
Because every time you pretend to be less than you are you steal permission from other women to fully exist and live their purpose.. Don’t use modesty as humility. It’s a horse trade. We have no time for nonsense when we are busy with following our true calling.
